We are trying to get enough YPCU members together to sponsor the Children’s Carnival event or even cover the majority of the volunteers needed for July 21, 2015. What a way to make a difference than to band together and help the kids while having a great time!
This event is held in the Children’s Hospital lobby for the children staying at the hospital or simply coming in to any of there outpatient care clinics. Their siblings are also welcome to attend. The carnival games, prizes, activities and crafts allow kids to be kids, forgetting for a brief period of time about their illness and treatment. The carnival also gives credit unions another way to give back to their community and provide credit union volunteers a chance to see first hand what our fundraising efforts are supporting.
The carnival is held from 10:30 – 11:30 am in the lobby of Children’s Hospital. Volunteers will need to arrive by 10:15 am and be finished at 11:45 am.
